Error message “your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified” you need to connect securely”.
If you are having this problem with email, first make sure you are connecting securely, as our servers require using secure protocol. If you get this error “your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified” you need to connect securely.
Look for an option to activate encryption; it's usually in the advanced settings near where you can specify the port numbers for incoming and outgoing connections:
If using IMAP for your mail Enter 993 in the Incoming Server box
Enter 465 as the port for Outgoing Server (SMTP) text box
If using POP3 Enter 995 in the Incoming Server box
Enter 465 as the port for Outgoing Server (SMTP) text box
Check the box that says use same settings as incoming server.
Check the box that says outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
Check the box for TLS/SSL

6.) What email client are you using – such as Thunderbird, Outlook, MacMail, - please include version such as Outlook 2010.
7.) Please provide us with your exact connection settings. These are the settings you use in order to send/receive mail with your client. Be sure you include your username and password for these email accounts as well.
8.) Are you able to send/receive email via Webmail?
